Kateland Manor Estate, luxury B&B accommodation on the Tamar River, Beauty Point, located 40 minutes drive from Launceston, Northern Tasmania.
This Retreat is ideally located in the scenic Tamar Valley, a Tasmanian tourist haven that caters for anyone's wants and needs.

Kateland is set on a 288 acre estate along side the Tamar River; more specifically on the West Arm river. Kateland is ideally located, allowing for scenic drives - only 10 minutes drive from Tasmania’s northern beaches and adjacent to the small but picturesque township of Beauty Point.

Kateland was first built in 1910 and was lovingly restored throughout 2005 and 2006.

The daily serviced bed and breakfast features exclusive use of the estate’s primary residence, "complimentary wireless”, fax, printer, gym, tennis court and external spa cottage set amongst two acres of private gardens.

A relaxing activity is simply exploring, by golf cart or walking, the various tracks that extend across Kateland’s sloping hills, set amongst gum trees with views of the Tamar River.
Watch the wallabies emerge near dusk, or listen to the birds around Kateland’s private lake in the peacefulness of the early morning.

Guests also have an excellent range of local activities within easy reach, including cycling, tennis, wine tasting, hiking through national parks, fishing, horse-riding, golf or enjoy a relaxing walk (view map as pdf - 224kb) through the Kateland Estate.

All these activities, and more can be enjoyed knowing that you are returning to your own, private luxuriously appointed Tasmanian Estate.
